How phases work
- Normal
- Flown and consumed. Its energy counts against the mission.
- Reserve
- Energy that must still be in the pack at landing. It is budgeted, not flown, and is not checked for current.
- Derived
- Reuses another phase’s consumption times a factor, e.g. Descent = 0.6 × Hover. Pick the source under the name; the factor goes in the Vertical column.
- A / W
- A/m: average current per motor, as on a motor datasheet. ΣA: average current of all the motors of that lift system together, e.g. from a current sensor on its bus. W: average electrical power of all the motors of that lift system, e.g. from a flight log. All are averages over the phase, not totals of energy.
- Pack current
- What the pack delivers during the phase. It is compared with the pack’s continuous and burst ratings (C × capacity).
- Energy
- Power × duration, computed by the server. 80 % of pack energy is usable.
